We don’t mean to be insulting but this place is for the sports nut! We really mean it. If you’re a sports freak, the ESPN Zone is what you think heaven will be like. Sporting events play on screens tucked into every nook and cranny, crack, crevice and corner of the place. If you don’t see the game you want to see playing on one of these screens – and that’s almost an impossibility – just tell a waitress and she’ll find it.

The second floor has ten-thousand square feet of Interactive video games. You can race motorcycles and cars, go river rafting using a joystick shaped like a canoe paddle, play air hockey, ride a horse on a simulated race track, heave a football or chuck a basketball for practice - and that’s just for openers. The game selection is endless. And while you’re figuring out what to play next, catch the latest sports stats flashing by on digital screens.
And they serve "sports freak" food, none of that foie gras and canape stuff. Start out with a blue cheese, apple and walnut salad. Keep it going with a Zone Cheese Steak stacked with beef sauteed with onions, peppers and mozzarella on a toasted onion poppy seed bun. You may want to try one the restaurants signature items, the Maryland Style Crab Cake Sandwich served on ciabatta bread or the full slab of baby back ribs. There’s Rum Carrot Cake for desert or the Sudden Death Brownie – chocolate chips, and walnuts covered with ice cream and hot fudge.
One last thing, the ESPN Zone has those comfy over stuffed, recliner type chairs in the bar - the kind that wrap you in a warm embrace and say, “forget the day’s chores” - the kind the wife doesn’t want in the house. You can just cozy-down in them with a beer and a burger and watch sports on the bar screen till you’re reported missing.
