The Chicago Fed is one of 12 regional Reserve Banks across the United States that, together with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., serve as the central bank system for the United States. The Chicago Fed serves the Seventh Federal Reserve District, an economically diverse region that includes all of Iowa and most of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Monday - Friday: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (except on bank holidays)
Guided tours daily at 1:00 pm

Price: Free
The Bank's Money Museum is free and open to the public year-round from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, except on Bank holidays. All visitors must show a photo ID before entering the Money Museum. No food or drink is allowed. Be advised that there are times when the Money Museum may be closed for security reasons. Guided tours lasting roughly 45 minutes are available at 1:00 pm on Monday through Friday, or by appointment. You can also visit the Money Museum on your own at any time during open hours.
