The Chicago History Museum is a research museum that collects and exhibits artifacts, images and documents pertaining to the history of our city, state and country.

Since its move over a decade ago to its current home, it has achieved its goals and continues to strive to be an important contributor to our city.
The Chicago History Museum has a unique way of bringing our history to life. Among its exhibits; “We the People”, about our Revolution and our Constitution; “A House Divided”, about the Civil War and the contributions of Abraham Lincoln; "The Chicago Fire;" "Chicago Politics;" "Chicago Architecture;" and of course; the "Black Sox of 1919" and "Al Capone."
