The popular mid-summer Chicago event will again be a celebration of all things French as well as that country's Bastille Day National Holiday (Officially July 14). In 2011 the run/walk celebrates its 30th anniversary (!) as well as its new home in Lincoln Park which, until 2010, had been in the West Loop.

Following the run/walk, participants will be treated to a block party with food, refreshments and entertainment at the nearby Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. (Admission to only the block party without participation in the run/walk is $5.00) Proceeds will again benefit Chicago's Mercy Home for Boys & Girls.
