North Shore Art Festival exhibitors must pass a rigid, intense jury competition. Approximately 150 exhibitors will be chosen out of thousands of entries. The chosen 150 will offer the best in a wide selection of fine art including paintings, photography, jewelry, sculpture and more. This competitive jury selection process has contributed to the stellar reputation of the North Shore Arts Festival, and assures attendees of a first-rate selection of fine art. The event takes place in the parking lot of one of the largest and busiest retail centers on the North Shore. The first shopping center of its kind on the North Shore, The Westfield Old Orchard Shopping Center has been the retail Mecca for the area since it opened, more than half a century ago. On any given weekend, thousands of upscale shoppers come from both Chicago and neighboring affluent suburbs. The parking lot of this upscale shopping destination makes a perfect venue for this fine art fair, where millions of dollars are exchanged over this weekend.
