The 2007 rankings by U.S. News and World Report included the following medical specialties: digestive disorders (6), cancer (7), endocrinology (8), neurology and neurosurgery (14), kidney disease (22), heart (23), geriatrics (24), ear, nose, and throat (25), gynecology (39), and respiratory disorders (50).
It is the only hospital in Illinois ever to be included on the magazine's "Honor Roll" of the 18 best hospitals in the United States.
