What is WiFi?  WiFi is short for "Wireless Fidelity" which allows moble devices like laptop computers and personal digital assistants (PDA's) to connect to local area networks without wires.

Hardware Requirements:

• Laptop computer with a WiFi Internet card -IEEE 802.11b or g

Windows NT Setup:

• From the Control Panel, double click on "Network"
• Locate the TCP/IP protocol and double click on "properties"
• Select "Obtain an IP address from a DHCP server" and click "OK"
• SSID =CPLWiFi
• WEP = Disable WEP encryption
• Mode or Network Type = Infrastructure mode or access point
• DHCP = Obtain an IP address automatically
• DHS = Obtain server address automatically
