The CTA is the second largest transportation system in the United States.  It provides bus and rail service to the City of Chicago and 40 surrounding suburbs.  On an average weekday, over eight rail lines and 154 bus routes provide 1.6 million rides.

Chicago on $5.00 a day: You can enjoy unlimited rides on all CTA buses and trains with their 1, 2, 3, or 5-day Visitor Passes. Your pass activates the first time you use it and is good for the number of consecutive days shown on the front of the pass.
