O'Hare International Airport
5600 N. Mannheim Road
Chicago IL, 60666
Phone: 1.800.895.8018

Known as O'Hare Airport or O'Hare (ORD), is located in the Northwestern-most corner of the city and 17 miles (27 km) Northwest of the Loop. It is the largest hub of United Airlines (whose headquarters is in downtown Chicago) and the second-largest hub of American Airlines (after Dallas/Fort Worth). It is operated by the City of Chicago Department of Aviation.

Why is O'Hare's Airport Code "ORD"?
It does seem odd that it's ORD -- after all, there's not even a "D" in O'Hare -- until you find out that O'Hare's original name until 1949 was Orchard Field Airport.
