The Redhead Piano bar attracts a devoted following of upscale regulars and visitors alike. Its clientèle, all dressed in required business casual, is a diverse mix of people in their 20s to 50s. If lucky, you’ll find yourself in one of the highly-coveted seats around the piano, listening to the man at the ivories tackle anything from Frank Sinatra to Van Morrison to Coldplay. Requests are welcome, as well as the occasional sing-a-long. The live music lasts until at least 3:30 am (and 4:30 on Saturday evenings).
Redhead does not have a kitchen, instead they focus on a full bar and an array of alluring cocktails. Redhead features thirty signature martinis - most are provocatively named after a female friend of the Redhead: try “Wendy’s Dark Side Martini” or “Sonya’s Juicy Peaches.” Redhead also has an impressive variety of single-malt scotches and cognacs.
The classic vibe translates further into their stance on smoking. In an age of smoke-free nightclubs, Redhead remains a smoke friendly establishment, complete with a humidor.
The Redhead Piano Bar takes a classic approach, with late hours, live music, stiff drinks, a dress code and a smoke-friendly atmosphere. Redhead is available for private parties, catered by long-time partner Phil Stefani (though you may choose your own food).
