This classy little gem is reminiscent of a 1940s cocktail lounge. Leather and chrome chairs line the bar, behind it glass shelves are mounted against windows that reach to the ceiling and stunning chandeliers bathe the wood paneled walls in a warm light. Close your eyes and it could be 1948 with a guy in a tux playing the piano, singing some of Ellington's biggest hits.

And the martinis? They make thirty-seven martinis at the Martini Bar. Thirty-seven! For instance, you could have a Godfather, a Sea Breeze, the Cherry Bomb or Mango Passion. The bartenders say Mango Passion is the most popular (What a surprise!) - Skyy vodka, triple sec, mango juice, lime juice, sugared rum and a slice of mango as garnish. Be still my heart.

The Martini Bar is located next door to big money - the Chicago Board of Trade. You’ll find some pretty well dressed people inside toasting their day’s success or trying to filter out the memory of a few lost bucks.
