That's right, come on in and jive to the beat of the live band at the front of the bar, but better leave the herbal stuff behind. This is a very popular reggae bar that pretty much sticks to the adage, "What you see is what you get." It is loud, unpretentious and lots of fun.

General Info
Exedus II is the oldest Jamaican owned and operated club in Chicago. They feature live reggae four nights per week: DJ reggae on Wednesdays, world music on Thursdays, and a live hip-hop/reggae party on Mondays.

You can find the hottest reggae bands in the Midwest at Exedus II. "We always give our strongest performance at Exedus because of its intimate settings, we are right there in the crowd feeling the vibrant energy," says musician Rasta Kelly. There is always a free live reggae party after each Cubs home game. These parties feature Red Stripe beer, a true Jamaican beer.

The club boasts a true home for Jamaicans in and traveling to Chicago. We give an authentic, back on the Island party. The energy from our Jamaican patrons transfers to everyone in the audience. There's no place in Chicago where you can experience true Jamaican entertainment.
