The Vong in Vong's Thai Kitchen is none other than Jean-Georges Vongerichten, who was awarded three James Beard Restaurant Award Medals in 1998, including Outstanding Chef. Jean-Georges is of Alsatian origin and was apprentice under master chefs in Paris. He arrived in New York in 1985 and has dazzled American diners ever since.

Vong's Thai Kitchen (VTK) offers Thai inspired cuisine. The menu is the result of the 3 1/2 years that Jean-Georges spent in the Orient. VTK is a beautiful restaurant with relaxed vibrant colors. Casual elegance would describe the room quite well. It has a broad menu of soups, salads, noodle dishes and satays. You will also find a "Let's Share" option on the menu, which is ideal for groups who want a sampling of several dishes.
