Café Ba-Ba-Reeba is one of the first tapas restaurants in Chicago to gain notoriety. Owned by Chef Gabino Sotelino and restaurant giant Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, this tapas restaurant remains a vibrant neighborhood place to meet and share all the wonderful flavors, especially in warm weather when the patio is open. It has many special events, such as a Flamenco dinner show, Spanish cheeses and Spanish art with tapas and wine.

Tapas is an absolutely a wonderful way to share. Each person can order 2-3 tapas plates, some cold, some hot, and all can delight in the flavors. This café has it all. Grilled sea bass, curried chicken, braised beef, vegetables, chesses, salads and gazpacho. How about a pitcher of sangria (half pitcher also available)? The sangria comes in a variety of flavors: red, white, mango and champagne. The $2 tapas bar in the afternoon is a great and inexpensive way to taste many of the dishes.
