With a seating capacity of 400, look for a bustling, even happily chaotic atmosphere as staff clad in traditional gaucho costume are always at the ready to replenish diner's plates. 14 varieties of perfectly seasoned and cooked meats are served via roving skewer-wielding wait staff. Sal & Carvao's menu boasts a fixed price, all-you-can-eat-and-then-some smorgasbord of roasted meats (filet mignon, leg of lamb, beef ribs and more) all sliced and served table side. While this location is the first to grace Chicago, the mini-chain services Schaumburg and Downers Grove also.
