Alice and Friends Vegetarian Restaurant Alice and Friends Vegetarian Restaurant
The menu consists mainly of dishes inspired by Korean, Chinese and Japanese favorites, and the meat substitutes here are unsurpassed with genuine meaty textures and juicy flavor.
The restaurant's name pays tribute to Lewis Caroll, and the purple walls and bizarre collision of decorations, from mismatched tables and chairs to birdcages, caters to the Wonderland experience. The restaurant is run by devotees of the Quan Yin Meditation style, so spiritual quotes, pamphlets and an ongoing video of Supreme Master Ching Hai are also thrown into the mix.

Blue Water Grill Blue Water Grill
In the summer of 2005, Blue Water Grill made a splash as the Chicago outpost of one of New York’s most high-profile seafood destinations. It’s sleek style - dramatic lighting, sculpted steel, mosaic accents - sets the scene for one of Chicago Magazine’s recently named "Ten Hip Places."

Bob Chinn's Crabhouse Bob Chinn's Crabhouse
A mind-boggling daily menu of fresh flown-in seafood features rarities like flaky Hawaiian onaga and melt-in-your-mouth Florida stone crab claws, served on signature plastic plates with flatware from Target. Go easy on Chinn's delicious garlic rolls, which complement every meal.

C-House Restaurant C-House Restaurant
Marcus Samuelsson’s Fish and Chophouse offers a personal touch of refinement, sophistication and simplicity. It is defined by equal parts adventure and tradition. The space is designed by Arthur Casas, the prolific Brazilian architect who has shaped some of São Paulo’s most fashionable addresses.

Cape Cod Room Cape Cod Room
The first impression is stunning: red-checked table cloths, exposed mahogany wood beams, carved benches, ship models and the cozy warm atmosphere of an oceanside New England inn. You've just stepped through the door of the Cape Cod Room, found at the lower level of the Drake Hotel.

Catch 35 Catch 35
This is the place for those who Love Seafood. As one patron put it, "I eat at Catch 35 frequently and have never been disappointed. They always have a wide variety of fresh seafood expertly prepared".  The seafood menu is so extensive – offering so many delightful dishes many with an Asian flair – you'll enjoy it simply for its reading pleasure.

Chicago Diner Chicago Diner
This diner offers all-American style menu items that are strictly vegetarian, and most are suitable for vegans as well. There are also raw food choices, organic beer and wine, and vegan wines.

Devon Seafood Grill Devon Seafood Grill
Located at the corner of Chicago and Wabash, Devon offers simply prepared premium seafood, an impressive cellar and handcrafted, signature cocktails mixed by bar chefs well practiced in the art of mixology. The service is seamless and the atmosphere offers a unique blend of the upscale and comfy chic that truly sets it apart from other Chicago restaurants.

Earwax Cafe Earwax Cafe
This is one of the locals favorite vegetarian and vegan spot's and  is nothing short of a monument, with healthy dishes (think scrambled tofu and Tuscan seitan sandwiches), colorful walls and eccentric staff.

Green Zebra Green Zebra
One of the top 10 heart-healthy restaurants in the U.S. offering healthy meal options that will help you to both eat well and live well.
This (mostly) vegetarian restaurant is under the deft hand of chef and co-owner Shawn McClain, who also operates Spring. Years after its opening, foodies including the carnivorous sort continue to storm this place for dishes like creamy burrata with Concord grape gastrique, favas and an elderflower cracker.
