He was the voice of the Chicago Cubs.  Leading fans in a chorus of Take Me Out To The Ballgame, during the seventh inning stretch.  Shouting "Holy Cow" into his announcer’s microphone every time a player hit a home run. Harry Caray's is as friendly and as open as the guy himself. People gather nightly in the bar to discuss business, gossip with friends or argue about teams and player standings. It’s the way Harry would want it. The bar is sixty feet, six inches long, the exact distance from the pitchers mound to home plate. 12 televisions, feature sporting events from all over the country as well as Chicago. The bar is dotted with baskets of salty, homemade potato chips that are – well – addictive. These chips are so famous they're sold at "Taste of Chicago" as a delicacy!

And the food? This is an Italian steakhouse and its specialties are the finest prime aged steak and chops you’ll find anywhere. Diners from around the country never tire of talking about Harry's New York Sirloin Steak, Peppercorn Style. And if you like chicken Vesuvio – here it's the specialty of the house prepared by a chef who is a culinary artist.

After you've enjoyed the last bite, enjoy the restaurant’s collection of memorabilia. There are fifteen-hundred pieces in the collection that includes photographs, vintage newspapers, magazine covers and cartoons. Remember those giant glasses that seemed to cover Harry’s face? They’re the focal point of the display. Meet a sports legend and enjoy a great meal at Harry Caray’s Restaurant.
