Boston Blackies This neighborhood styled bar and restaurant is unique in that most of the sounding establishments are significantly more upscaled and trendy. The food here is simple but very well prepared. Oh, by the way the grilled Pork Chops are great. The food here is a great value and are nicely complimented with the house BBQ sauce and side of their wonderful coleslaw. Another house favorite are the potato skins. These are truly loaded and are dangerous for anyone over the age of thirty, but try them anyway you will love them..... |

Calumet Fisheries Today there are only a few smokehouses left in Illinois. Calumet Fisheries is known – and recognized – for smoking its own seafood onsite. We use natural wood in the smokehouse, not liquid smoke or other industrial substitutes.
Calumet Fisheries was featured in Tony Bourdain’s “No Reservations” on the Travel Channel. |

Garrett Popcorn Shop If you've strolled along Navy Pier, chances are pretty good that you've walked past a place with a line of people stretching onto the street that smells of cheese and caramel popcorn. You are unmistakably outside one of Chicago's busiest shops, the Garrett Popcorn Shop. |

Hamburger Mary's
When you walk into a Hamburger Mary's it's like walking into Mary's home, where you will be greeted with a warm smile and friendly (if somewhat saucy) service. Each restaurant may be unique in its eclectic décor, but they all provide the friendliest service and highest quality food.
Nothing beats a Hamburger Mary's burger, always made-to-order with an assortment of fun toppings on a bakery-fresh bun (For the health-conscious, we offer turkey burgers and veggie patties as an alternative). But there's more to Mary's than hamburgers... We offer a full menu including our famous homemade chili, soups made daily, a variety of salads, appetizers, sandwiches, entrees and desserts (featuring deep-fried Twinkies and "Mary Tyler S'Mores!"). There's even a special menu for Mary's "Little Lambs" under 10 years. |
